Clear aligners are an alternative to metal or clear braces. Teeth are straightened gently and gradually with multiple sets of aligners that are changed every two weeks. Aligners are fabricated from a 3D scan of the patient’s teeth.
Advantages of clear aligners are:a patient can remove the aligners for important occasions, brushing and flossing is much easier than traditional braces. Clear aligners are not recommended for those with severely crowded teeth, bite problems or large spaces between their teeth.
