Overview of Duties
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during patient treatment
- Greet & seat patients
- Maintain accurate patient records – patient medical history
- Polish and seal children's teeth at prevention visits, apply fluoride
- Take x-rays
- Supply ordering
- Provide patient education
- Other assorted duties that ensure the facility runs efficiently & safely
Qualified Candidates
- Education/Qualifications: Graduates of a Dental Assisting Program. Currently licensed in the state of Minnesota
- Required Skills: Proficient in the use of electronic medical records, patient scheduling and digital x-ray equipment; detail oriented with the ability to multi-task freely, and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Skills: Sensitivity to patient needs.
