When should I start taking my child to the dentist?

The general rule is 6 months after the eruption of your child’s first tooth.  Taking your child to the dentist at a young age is the best way to prevent problems such as tooth decay.  Parents will also be informed on how to care for their child’s teeth and identify their fluoride needs
