We like our new patients to see the dentist first. We do this so we can get to know you better and spend some time with you. At that appointment we will review your medical history, examine your mouth, update any x-rays that need to be taken, evaluate your gingival health, conduct an oral cancer screening, and discuss any treatment recommendations that you may need. After that, you will be scheduled with our hygiene team for the type of cleaning recommended by the dentist. When you are an established patient, then your recare appointments are with the dental hygienist.
